Toronto Couple Wins 11.5 Million Dollars In Lotto 6/49 Jackpot
Limoges is a small town outside of Ottawa that Rene and Suzanne Longpre recently put on the map for everyone interested in lottery winners! The couple took home the grand prize jackpot of 11.5 Million dollars during a shopping trip to Walmart thanks to their winning LOTTO 6/49 lottery ticket.
"What an exciting time for the Ottawa-region. Just one day after presenting a Hawkesbury couple with a $50 million LOTTO MAX prize, we are so happy to celebrate with Rene and Suzanne on their LOTTO 6/49 win" said Greg McKenzie, OLG Senior Vice President of Lottery Affairs.
Rene is 68 and his lovely wife Suzanne is 65 years old. They play the lottery together regularly but this is their first grand prize jackpot win. They always play the same numbers, using a combination of birthdays of their grandchildren, and they remained persistent for more than seven years - proving once again that lottery persistence can definitely pay off with huge amounts of cash!
The retired couple have two adult children and plan to set up trust funds for their three adorable grandchildren. They are also thinking of buying new homes for their sons before they spread their wings and start traveling the world. "It was always a dream of mine to visit Hawaii" said Suzanne. "Now it looks like that dream will come true - and just in time for our 45th wedding anniversary which we will be celebrating this year."
Now the couple has 11.5 Million reasons to enjoy their lives and live out retirement the way they have always wanted, with family and friends sharing in their momentous lottery victory!
